pitch and tone.

So, my ex wife calls me at work , (she never calls me at work ) I look at the phone and think , what did I do ? and then the shock of  maybe an emergency is taking place on the other end. I answer with a cautious hello.... "Your gonna be upset with this one ! says my ex " What happened ? I asked still mesmorized with the pitch and tone of her voice. Your daughter broke her cell phone to pieces ! TO PIECES ! is my gastly response beause thats how I think she wants me to respond  ( i just bought my daughter a new cell phone ) how ? what did she do to it ? Here I let you talk to her ,,,,,,, Hi daddy, and with that all was forgiven.... Pitch and tone , the sweet melodies of voices that will always melt my heart no matter what the conversation.
